Filed under: earning money online events business aspirations blogging

I’ve been surfing the net for these past few days hoping to find ways on how I’d be able to earn money online. I’ve stumbled upon different blogs. I saw some blogs of people attending blogger events including the very famous Bloggers United 2. Some get free invites and some even get freebies or goodies. I got curious, so I searched for blogger events. And that’s when I learned about B2B or Business to Bloggers. But of course, one must be an influential blogger before you get to enjoy exclusive invites to some events.
I really like attending such events, seminars, or conventions. It’s also great to try out products and write a product review. Now, it made me think. If I’m going to monetize my blog and participate to blogger events, I have to work on this blog. Aside from doing sponsored posts, I should also be in the know of the latest news or trending topics so I’d have something to blog. I just can’t decide what would be my blog’s niche. Would it be food, beauty, fashion, shopping, travel, or tech. Or, should I just blog about whatever topic I’d be able to come up with?
Anyway, I’m gonna come up with something so I would have more readers and followers. So better stay tuned.
EDIT:
In response to Chiui, and for the sake of sharing my thoughts because I wasn’t able to say everything that I wanted to say when I first created this post. Why? Because it was almost 5am. I rushed because my partner might arrive from work and see me, still wide awake. I know, staying up late is not good for my condition, so I won’t be doing that again.
> I do enjoy blogging and sharing my thoughts or daily life experiences. It’s just that I’m not that consistent when it comes to updating. I sometimes get caught up with real-life situations. Or sometimes I’m just too busy I can’t even manage my time accordingly. Being a working mom is not that easy, you know.
I started blogging way back 2006 or 2007, I guess. Had different domain names. But seeing other blog sites with such content, I can’t help but be inspired.
So, I realized I should step it up a notch. Blog more often. Go out, enjoy life, and blog about it. I want to have a lifestyle where I can shop for more clothes, gadgets, furniture, and home appliances. I would also like to travel, dine out more often, and save up for business. And with all that being said, I need extra income or money. And using my blog is the easiest way I know. I’ve been doing sponsored posts since 2008, but I’m not receiving that much of opportunities or link assignments anymore. I wasn’t able to focus on blogging when I got busy doing bazaars and now that I’m currently pregnant.
I suddenly had a lot of thoughts, ideas and plans. Blog, participate in blogger events, do sponsored posts, accept ads in this blog, create my own theme for this blog, do online/contract/freelance jobs (oDesk, elance, freelance), start up a business, attend seminars/workshops/classes, learn something new, study again, polish my web & graphic designing skills, travel & go to different place, and join bazaars again.
I resigned from my job for the meantime. I can’t even decide if I’m gonna work again in a company, be a work-at-home-mom doing a home based or freelance job, or just start up a business. I’m stuck here at home, bored to death. That’s why I have a lot of things going on in my mind. I realized there’s so many things I want to do. I bet next year will be a very busy year for me. I’m glad I’d be able to maximize the usage of my BDJ planner.
You might be confused as to what this post really is about. I don’t think I was able to stick to a particular topic. I’m not really good when it comes to thought organization, which I think is important in blogging.
